enter your email address*Opium's 500-Word Memoir Contest rules are simple: write a memoir of 500 words or less. The contest debuted in Opium5 in October, 2007 (judged by Daniel Handler, won by John Jodzio).
The contest's return features Tom Perrotta (Election, Little Children) in the judging chair. The winning story, along with nine of the fifteen finalists, appear in Opium8. The winner will be announced the day the issue launches, on May 26.
